Mission Local would never make that suggestion, as it would bite the techie hands that feed them. Don't get me wrong: they've done some fantastic reporting, but JE sets the "political" tone for the site, and there are lines he doesn't want crossed.
Think of it this way: 1 - there's a reason why, despite all the site's acclaim, grassroots orgs like Gay Shame hate it with a burning rage; 2 - JE wrote that eye-rolling "aww, poor Scott Wiener" post recently; and 3 - you may have noticed that they are the ONLY Bay Area news site to stay radio-silent about (accused) sexual predator/JE's friend Manny Yekutiel, despite that story having gotten coverage outside of the Bay Area, and the site's Events page is still promoting numerous events at his bougie-ass gentrifying cafe.
Again, ML does great reporting, but... well, I'm reminded of when Violet gave the single greatest description of writing for SF Chronicle: "Hearst in the streets, Pinkertons in the sheets." The only difference between ML and SFist that ML gets better funding and SFist is a lot more blatant about how much they love, Love, LOVE SFPD.
The nazi bars have taken measures to ensure that, if they're not the only bars in town already, they soon will be.
