Embedded recruiter, fractional talent partner, sourcer on demand.
Technical and GTM hiring for high-growth startups.
I find people who aren't looking, and I only send you the ones who will actually move. Ten years, 250+ hires, seed through Series B — working directly with founders, CTOs and the people teams already in place.
Embedded / fractional. I work as part of your team — in your ATS, in your Slack, in your hiring manager meetings. Contract, part-time or full-load depending on what the quarter looks like.
Recruiter on demand. Spin up for a hiring push, spin down when it's met. No retainer, no minimum term, no headcount on your books.
Micro-RPO. For teams with no recruiting function yet: I'll run the whole thing and build it while I run it — ATS implementation, comp benchmarks, interview structure, scorecards, handbook and benefits. I've stood recruiting up from zero more than once, and hired and led recruiting teams to take it over.
Sourcing-only. If your recruiters are strong but drowning, I take the top of the funnel and hand off qualified, engaged candidates.
Calibration first. A real intake with the hiring manager — not a job description. What does great look like, what's genuinely disqualifying, what will this person's first six months actually be. I'd rather spend an hour there than send you thirty near-misses.
Market mapping before outreach. I build the full landscape of who exists and where, then work it systematically. Named searches, competitive programming and research backgrounds, domain depth — whatever your bar is, that's what I map against.
Personalized outreach, not templates. Passive candidates ignore mail merges. Response rates come from knowing what the person actually built.
Screening for readiness, not just fit. This is the part most sourcing misses. Before anyone reaches you, I've established motivation to move, compensation expectations, timeline, location and visa reality, and what would make them say no. A perfect profile who isn't leaving their job is a waste of your time and mine.
A short, calibrated shortlist. Few candidates, high hit rate. I'd rather submit three you want to meet than twelve you have to sort.
Close support. Offer stage is where searches die. I stay in it through acceptance and start date.
AI and coding agents, blockchain infrastructure, digital asset custody, cybersecurity, data science consulting, enterprise SaaS and trusted computing. Selected teams: OpenBlock Labs, Ava Labs, BitGo, bloXroute, Circle, CertiK, Axelar, Intertrust.
I've changed sectors repeatedly and it has never been the hard part. Sourcing craft transfers; the domain is homework. If your product is adjacent to something on that list — or nothing like it — the conversation is the same one.
Roles have run well past engineering: VP Sales, VP Finance, VP Product, CSO, CLO, marketing and BD leadership, product designers, data scientists.
Fractional and invoiced monthly. No retainer, no minimum term, no overhead on your side. US/EU hours.
