yes, absolutely. fanfiction.lol is for fan works and original works. write whatever you want.

can i post explicit content?

yes, with the appropriate rating and tags. you'll need to confirm your age in your account settings. explicit content is not shown to users who haven't opted in.

can i post RPF (real person fiction)?

yes. tag it clearly as RPF. don't use it to harass real people or make false factual claims.

can i repost work i originally posted on AO3 or elsewhere?

yes, as long as it's your own work (or you have the original author's permission).

what counts as a required archive warning?

Graphic Depictions of Violence, Major Character Death, Rape/Non-Con, Incest, Ableism, Colonialism, Queerphobia, Racism, Systemic Oppression, Fantasy Oppression / Bigotry, Misogyny, and Real Person Fiction (RPF). Apply all that are relevant. "Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings" is valid if you prefer not to specify warnings or want to avoid spoilers — but it is not a substitute for warnings you know apply to your work.

can i use a pseudonym?

yes. the pseuds system lets you post under multiple pen names linked to your account. your real identity is only visible to the site admin (i.e. Brennan).

what happens if i report something?

Brennan reviews it. this is a one-person site, so response times may vary. genuine safety issues (CSAM, targeted harassment, doxxing) are prioritised.

can i delete my account?

yes. go to Account Settings → Delete My Account. your works will be deleted with your account unless you orphan them first (see the FAQ for details on orphaning).
