Hi, I’m Anna

Award-winning systems and platform designer building scalable, accessible foundations for complex products.

For more than a decade, I've defined the systems and frameworks that complex products depend on — strengthening product quality, reducing operational and legal risk. I focus on designing durable structures that give teams clarity, reduce rework, and continue to hold up as products, teams, and requirements evolve.

What I do

I design and evolve product and design systems that help teams move from reactive fixes to durable, scalable ways of working.

By embedding the foundations — patterns, interaction models, accessibility, and AI behavior — into system architecture, teams change what it costs to ship, what breaks as products scale, and how much time is spent correcting preventable issues.

Done upstream, this approach reduces rework and regressions, improves decision-making, and enables predictable delivery with lower long-term cost.

Featured projects

Recent system-level work across platforms and design systems. Full case studies available upon request.

Agentic Experiences in Azure

Interaction models and behavioral contracts for agentic systems.
Defined how AI actions get triggered, how agent reasoning is made visible, how users stay in control, and how state is communicated — for non-deterministic experiences at platform scale.

Azure Copilot

Foundational interaction patterns and accessible defaults. Defined the shared interaction models that Copilot experiences across Azure depend on. Influenced Fluent control behavior. Shipped fully accessible at GA.

Microsoft Azure

System-level diagnostics and pattern definition.
Leveraged accessibility and usability as system signals to identify gaps in shared platform components. Task completion in validated flows improved from ~60% to 100%; surfaced 13 issues missed by standard vendors.

Microsoft Inclusive Design

Platform strategy and system foundations.
Led the next iteration of Microsoft's Inclusive Design platform, embedding accessibility into shared tools and guidance.

LinkedIn Learning

Design systems education and capability building. Authored and taught Auditing Design Systems for Accessibility, used globally by designers and engineers.
