Helping you get the most out of the Design Systems!
Hello! I'm Stu, a Design Systems consultant and front-end developer with over a decade of experience.
I help teams build design systems that work in real product code. I help them ship consistently, improve front-end architecture, and refactor legacy CSS safely.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or scaling what you already have, I focus on the practical bits: design tokens, component architecture, and CSS patterns.

I’ve worked with teams at Monotype, UCL, EMBL, and Springer Nature on design systems, component libraries, and front-end architecture. I also support teams with 'front-end archaeology', modern CSS implementation, and hands-on workshops.
Let's talk about how I can help.
